Came to dump trash. $15 for an air conditioner that the Freon was already drained from. Asked to open up my truck to see what is inside. Still asked how many bags did we have when we were already on the scale and advised we were dumping household trash. Trying to nickel and dime us every step of the way. What should have been a $5 trip was escalating to $30 plus. We are lifelong residents and they are pushing us away from our own county services. This is a trash service not an interrogation service.

I have been dumping here for the last five years. If you read these reviews, pay attention to how current they are. Was there a MAJOR customer service issue here at one time? Absolutely, BUT the staff here isn’t the one from that time, and I can attest there is a noticeable difference in efficiency and politeness. Once I used to dread taking anything here, but now the current staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would almost say I enjoy going now! Sure, the scales close at 3:30, but that’s necessary to give people time to get weighed, unload, and come back out. Also, the 3:30 cutoff is clearly stated on their website. Today, these folks are doing a great job, and certainly don’t deserve the low stars from the workers of the past.

This place has no idea how flow the scale. You will be waiting 10 minutes usually longer to check out. Instead of rotating the line. The employee will stop the check out lane to allow everyone checking in to come through causing the check out lane to back up.
