I was referred here by my vet, after testing and imaging neglected to reveal the root cause of my dog's ongoing GI issues. They scheduled me in pretty quickly, the staff were uniformly kind, patient, and helpful, and I felt like I could trust the vet specialist I saw. She took the time to explain her concerns and findings, and suggest three next step actions to take, which left me feeling hopeful that we could eventually figure out and fix this. Though my pup was there for almost 4 hours, she was clearly treated well, given attention, and handled with care. They ran blood tests that came back faster than expected, and both before and after the appointment they liaised with my vet about history and care. I won't hesitate to return here if necessary- the care of both my dog and myself here was excellent.

Virginia veterinary specialist s are great! Receptionist are kind considerate and listening to what you need to tell them. The assistance that come out to get the animals when you're in the car because they do have you sit in the car and call them when you get there are great as well with you and the animals. Dr Anderson was great too very knowledgeable. Even though they are expensive to go to I was so recommend them to have your animal treated by them. They do have forms of payments like scratch pay or Care credit if you need financial help.

I have used Dr Anders for three CCL surgeries and am always impressed with his surgery skills and professionalism. The first two times I saw him at his previous office in MD. I traveled 3 hours for this surgery at his new office. Every single person I dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. I would absolutely make the trip again.
