My child was sent to Elger Bay for special instruction due to his Autism. At first,things were ok. The teacher was good and he was learning. This year the Para Educators have become more abusive. Mocking him for ticks he can't control. Constantly picking at him for trying to help. His new teacher is from Lincoln,and she seems to believe elementary school children are taught the same.Autistic children too. The Principal accused me of threatening him. The District office does nothing. They hate me for fighting for my son. Seriously thinking of a law suit

Just because so many of these suburban school districts somehow score well, read the details. As far as preparing a child for college, forget about it. Be careful when you look to move to outlying Seattle metro communities. The "hi-viz" clothing abounds. 🙄

It depends, Cedarhome Elementary is out at 3:30 pm while the Stanwood Middle and High School are both out at 2:10, but the schedules variy for the middle and highschool. There are three different types, late start which is wensday and assembly but the school's home page has plenty of info.
Mid Winter break was February was the 18th-21st, our next break is Spring break April 4th-8th
