Really short-sighted and clueless store manager on duty (10/26/22). I visited the store yesterday and bought a bag of bagels (from the end-cap). This morning I intended to toast one when I noticed they were all MOLDY. Okay, so I took the bag back and asked to exchange it, but I didn't have the receipt from yesterday (who keeps or even takes receipts these days?) The manager stated "it's our policy..." (that you must have the receipt and that I shouldn't have bought it after the expiration date that was handwritten on the package (10/24). I didn't look for that when I picked them off the shelf - that they were already expired. So she refused to allow me to grab a different bag and exchange it. ehhh? What is she saying, that "I lied" about purchasing it the day before? (is that the kind of clientele that shops at the COOP?). She looked at them and SHE ADMITTED THEY WERE MOLDY, yet would not replace them for me. Wow. over a bag of bagels - only 5 of them at that. Astonishingly clueless customer interface.

Today was my very first time visiting this store. It was recommended to me by my midwife. Let me just tell you, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The store manager Travis was extremely helpful with no hesitation, patient, and positive. Although they didn't have an item I was looking for he offered a solution. And Andy the cashier was very kind and made conversation with my husband and I. There were also two female workers who smiled at me lol. And before pulling the shield down the guy on produce asked did I need any fruits or veggies first. Everyone was nice and I did find some pretty good supplements for my health. win win!

Love this place but wish people were more genuinely happy, connected and created community. Being a member shouldn’t only include sales. And since it’s impossible to shop without being harassed by a table outside campaigning for their company with a poor sad overall model of what they say they stand for I can’t come here any more. I shop for health and well-being and the stress from telling the people at the table repeatedly no thank you takes away from the whole experience. I literally am scared to leave the store without being harassed even with arms full of items trying to make it to my car. Also the food is so random and inconsistent. I opened some kale salad and people in the room said what is that smell…not in a good way. I have thrown away more money here than any other store. No fun. The one time I did return prepared food I felt like a criminal. 🤷♀️. I have worked in a natural food store before.

No
Sometimes
They will sell your locally produced produce, but they require operation inspection and you will be selling to them at wholesale prices
You mean: "Do THEY carry Ekekiel bread?" That's a good question, probably best answered by the store itself.
Sorry. This question needs to be asked directly to Co-op staff.
