This is the kind of campground you want to come to if you want to feel like you're in the woods but are pretty sure you're going to forget the coffee and need an escape route to town, or if you have kids that you are trying to get to love the outdoors. It has it all, the access the remote feel even though you're not remote at all, the amenities and showers. And it's next to dungeness spit which is truly a wonder.

Absolutely beautiful place to come walk, think, meditate, camp, or bring the family. We just drove down here real quick to see what it was and found cool little place I may visit and explore again.

What a beautiful park right close to the water. Nice RV sites with full hookups. We didn't have a reservation but was still able to get a site over Memorial weekend. Lots of eagles and experienced a beautiful sunset.

This is possibly because no one is allowed to work the fee station yet. If no one is there to collect the fee, no one can pay; thus, no one can stay overnight.
3 pm, but if you call, you may be able to go earlier. Depends if the site is cleared from the previous night.

Hello. There are several parking lots inside the park. To get quickly to the shore, drive the park road to the end. You will see a kiosk there.
Dungeness Recreation Area is next to Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge does not allow any dogs at all. However, Dungeness Recreation Area allows dogs on leash. The manager is very strict about this.
