I went here back in 2013...the one thing that was lacking for me in their program was any one on one counseling. Everything was done in groups so i was never actually able to sit down with someone and share my whole story and have them help me understand why i am the way i am...it was NOT as intense as ineeded it to be

Great facility with caring staff, friendly peers, and a program that means business! If you truly want to get sober, Lakeside will guide you as you take your first steps toward a happier and healthier life.

I wasnβt expecting to go to treatment. I had a good friend who did an intervention on me. I was vary out of it the first week but Lakeside Milam took good care of me to get me through the withdrawals and then keep me occupied for the next 28 days. I feel better than I have in years and feel hope again. The staff did the best they could with the limited staff dealing with 80 people detoxing at once. Most of the counselors were good at their jobs and the psychologists were tremendous. I would recommend either going to treatment here or referring a friend.πͺπΌ

I went here in March 2020 because I could NOT stop drinking/using on my own... and I tried hard. Iβm proud to say that I got released today after 28 days clean & sober and I feel great!!! The staff was top notch and I couldnβt have asked for a better treatment facility. I definitely recommend this place to anybody struggling with addiction.

Yes they do still! Itβs a great facility Iβm going on 18 months clean. Like the previous answer they determine how long you need to be in detox and someone makes sure you eat and see the dr. Good luck I hope it helps!
Hi Patti, at this time we are only taking private insurance and private pay. We do have a list of places that do take state and federally funded insurance. Please call us at: 800.231.4303.
Yes. Librium taper and magnesium, and hydroxyzine and trazadone as needed while in detox for alcohol. Suboxone for opioid dependency. I'm not sure about other substances.
I went in 9 years ago. And I've done H&I work in another facility. This was a clean and structured environment. The daily schedule was a great way to be introduced back into the productive world.
Yes. We do hold on to your medications while in treatment, but you will be able to take them as directed on the bottle.
Call to make an appointment to take an assessment for substance use disorder at one of the local LMRC offices.
Call the family liaison office for current visitation policies.
