My husband passed away in March 2021 in Georgia and we had to wait until Arlington National Cemetery contacted us with a date for his funeral in 2022. Demaine Funeral Home was recommended to me as they handled my family's aunt and uncle's funerals at Arlington. Brandon at Demaine was beyond exceptional! I had no idea how things worked in getting my husband's remains from Georgia to Arlington and the processes involved. I needed recommendations for everything from hotels, flowers and photographer. I was concerned with delays in getting my husband's remains to Virginia ahead of the date for his service at Arlington. Brandon kept me informed every step of the way. His help and professionalism were exemplary and made the whole process seamless and so much less stressful for me. It was a difficult time for me as I had lost my mother just 14 days before my husband passed and I was emotionally a complete mess. With time and the assistance from Demaine and Brandon, it was so much easier on me than I expected. I cannot praise Demaine high enough! I have saved their information for when my time comes and have told my sons to contact Demaine to handle my remains.......no matter how far in the future it happens. They have my complete trust and thanks for the staff at Demaine.
