Great service for our tuning appointment! We have recently bought a used piano (20 years old) and scheduled a tuning appointment with Schaeffer's Piano Co. A gentleman came on time with his tools, and spent about an hour tuning the piano. It hasn't been tuned for a long time before today's appointment. Now it sounds much better! I called the shop to schedule another appointment to see if they might be able to fix the loose front legs of our piano and I am waiting to hear back from them. I think we will continue to use Schaeffer's Piano Co. for piano services.

So I had to move unexpectedly due to the landlord wanting to sell his place. That meant I had to pack in a hurry while trying to finish the school year and figuring out what to do with my piano for the move because regular movers don't always know how to move a piano correctly. I'm really sensitive about my piano because I've had it since I was 17 (almost 60 now) and it was the last gift my mother bought for me before she died so I could get ready for college auditions. Schaeffer is THE ONLY piano company I will EVER use to move my piano. The were very patient and flexible and changed the move date two or three times in a week due to weather and my trying to work things out with my school so I could be at home for the move. They showed up a little early and worked out getting it out of an odd space that was kinda tight, getting it around a row of townhouses with a hill and grass then getting it on the truck. They came right to the storage site without delay and got it in and gave me a cover to protect it because other furniture was coming. Dewayne and Tom were SUPER professional and didn't mind me asking worry wart questions that I probably didn't need to ask. My piano has been back and forth across the United States 5 times for various moves and this is the FIRST time that it was comfortable and pain free.
