I would do whatever you can to never stay here. Washers and dryers that don’t work and don’t get fixed. Aggressive towing policy, it’s going to cost be $200 and a missed day of work because I was parked on the line of another spot. I get that’s technically wrong, but waking up to a missing car trying to drive to work is upsetting for such a minor thing. They mow Friday mornings and maintenance cannot even fix interior doors so they lock. Still waiting on a new garbage disposal after a month as well. Took about a week to get mailbox keys when I moved in as well. Staff is friendly enough, but I don’t feel comfortable here.

I leased for one year and continuously had issues throughout including but not limited to: mice, mold, marijuana stench, a broken patio door, broken entry doors and electrical outages. Trying to get these things resolved consisted of MANY calls and emails to the office. It took them a few weeks to address the mice issue. They did not take care of the mold issue until 2 weeks before I moved out, even though I told them about it over a month prior to that. It was growing on the walls, my couch, leather, wooden kitchen table and utensils to name a few. After moving, my health as well as my dog's overall health improved SIGNIFICANTLY and we have only been out for a week and a half. An employee in maintenance was extremely inappropriate and made me feel unsafe when he came in to fix an electrical issue. While the office staff was kind, trying to get ahold of someone that could solve a problem was impossible unless you email the property manager, and that person changes every few months. Both of the entrance doors to my building were broken and did not lock, destroying the illusion of safety when people sleep right outside the back door on a regular basis. I have been approached in the parking lot multiple times throughout my stay by people who ask to leave with them among other things. Guest parking is a nightmare, someone can't stop by for 15 minutes without getting towed after 7pm and the office does not provide a way to get a guest parking pass after regular business hours which is inconvenient for someone who works those hours. Overall, I would not recommend this complex to ANYONE. It is unsafe in so many different aspects.

There’s 4 guest parking spots(3 because one of them is currently blocked by construction cones) for like every 50 apartments. Even though there isn’t a shortage of parking spots, they have a towing company doing rounds from 7pm to 7am (which isn’t stated anywhere near the parking lot). In order to get your car you have to pay $300 CASH (they had mine for 45 minutes and damaged it). Are tenants not allowed to have gusts? That’s what it feels like! I went to visit a good friend of mine and after two hours I leave just to find out my car got towed.

I am resharing my wifes review because we also are renters at another Galman Group in Newark and we just had the worst experience with the towing company. They were beyond rude and LAUGHING at me on the phone with them. We came to visit a friend and ALL the visitor parking spots were taken. One of the visitor parking spots even had CONSTRUCTION buckets and ORANGE CONES. Our car was towed at 9:15 (according to the paperwork) after just getting to the complex around 8:30. 45 minutes we were parked!! We now have to pay $300 to get our car out when they haven't even had it for more than an hour! You guys need to seriously fix this as no one wants to live in a place that tows vehicles when all the guest parking spots are full. Would not recommend this place to ANYONE especially when they get the grimmiest tow company to swipe in and take cars that have been parked for 45 minutes before they towed us!
