Sorry for the delay in answering your question. There are still free tests at the libraries. You can check their web page to make sure they have them available at a branch near you. https://library.carr.org/testkit/
If you would like to have some test kits, you can order them online at covidtests.gov and they will be delivered to your home. If you need a test more immediately, if you are able to get transportation, our testing site at the Ag Center in Westminster is open Monday - Thursday 9 am - 1 pm. https://cchd.maryland.gov/covidtesting/ If neither of these options work for you, please call our hotline at 410-876-4848 for assistance.
We are not currently able to print birth certificates due to the statewide network security incident. We are taking names and numbers to call back when available for those willing to wait for birth certificates. Other locations may be able to help you, but please call ahead: Howard County Health Department, Frederick County Health Department, Montgomery County Health Department and Vital Records at Reisterstown Road Plaza.
I am sorry we did not receive notification of this question earlier. Is she still in need of a vaccination? If so, please call our call center at 410-876-4848 on Monday and we will help you set something up for her.
Hello - at this time, we are only able to schedule vaccination clinics 1-2 weeks in advance due to the supply of the vaccine we are receiving. At this time there are no clinics scheduled in May that we are able to register individuals for.
Calling them Monday thru Friday...
Thanks for asking! A contact tracer should have been in touch with you to help you monitor symptoms. You can end isolation after 10 days if your symptoms have resolved and you have no fever (without using fever-reducing medications). Most people do not need follow up testing. If you are immune-compromised, you may need to isolate for 20 days or more to make sure you are no longer contagious. For more information: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/end-home-isolation.html https://cchd.maryland.gov/covid-19-contact-tracing/ Be well!
Information about COVID-19 vaccinations can be found on our webpage (https://cchd.maryland.gov/covid-19-vaccination/) and on social media. We will be reaching out to 1B groups soon when we are ready to schedule vaccinations.

We will have someone look into this. The mask rule for sports is a little difficult because it discusses being able to wear masks safely, which requires some judgement. The social distancing guidelines for sports talk about maintaining distances as practical. Anyone standing around the field must be complying with distancing and/or mask requirements.

Hi! Thanks for your inquiry. Though temporary food permits are required for any events where food is sold, we generally do not regulate children's lemonade stands. We do recommend that the water and ice used to make the product come from an approved, potable source and that gloves be used to handle the product. At a larger event, a permit would be needed. Please feel free to call the Bureau of Environmental Health at 410-876-1884 for more details or if you have additional questions.
