I was surprised but the relativly low score, but I read several one star reviews that seem entirely unfair. The practice is efficiently run. My kids see Dr. Fertch, who is great. I have never had any issues with rudeness. I have had to wait on occasion, but stuff comes up and I would rather have the doctors giving their patients enough time than rushing. I like that I can call and leave a message and the Dr. will call me back. It usually takes a few hours, but I can appreciate that they are busy and have time set aside for returning calls.

I called on Tuesday regarding my son, and strange repetitive movement he was having with his eyes. I was concerned about possible seizures. I wanted to bring him in. Video of the incident was also sent and reviewed. I was told he did not need to be seen and it was not an “emergent situation”. The only help I was given was a list of phone numbers for neurologist and was told it “shouldn’t” take long to get in to see one. I felt completely blown off. THANK GOD, I did not listen to this terrible and negligent medical advice. I took my son to a Pediatric ER and then was transferred to Johns Hopkins (via ambulance) for my son to be under the care of the neurological team. We have been in the hospital since Tuesday. My son is having Infantile Spasms and this very much IS an “emergent situation”. In fact early detection is key in having a better outcome. The fact that Ms. Reske did not even want to see my son is unacceptable. If I would have followed her advice and done nothing but wait to see a specialist when they had an opening I would have put my son at a HUGE risk. The medical staff here at Hopkins are astonished that my son’s pediatrician did not even feel the need to see him. Needless to say I will never step foot in this practice again. Please don’t ever do this to another parent.

My children’s provider is great, but the front desk staff here is rude and unprofessional. My son has been coming here for almost 4 years and now my newborn comes here but I’m thinking about switching clinics because it’s extremely frustrating to have to deal with attitude every time you call or come to the office. The only reason I’ve continued to come is because of their provider.

It’s hit or miss with the receptionists here. Either very nice or very rude. Becky at check out is amazing!!!

Trying to figure that out myself.
No they are very strict. I'm not going back. I would not recommend this place . They gave me a hard time just because one of my kids last name wasn't on the insurance card. They didn't even call me they waited until I got there to say something.
