This place has all.kinds of north west grown plants and Mr Albers was present during our visit. He welcomed us and educated us about using least amount of water , not using chemical fertilizers, when to plant etc. And gave us some great gardening tips. Please plan to spend 2 hours. It is a leasurely stroll with views of water around Kitsap peninsula, Mount rainer and Olympics.

Gorgeous. Peaceful. Delightful. Many beautiful specimens of maples, conifers, and rhodies. Our tour was educational. Safe distancing for Covid. So glad I was able to enjoy this garden!

The gentleman who owns the property was incredibly kind! He allowed myself, my daughter and our photographer to come in and have her senior photo shoot done on a day that he was not open. The property is well kept and flowers are all beautiful.

Questions & Answers

Is this place, or places like this, dog friendly?

It's not ideal for dogs. For tours and open days, it is discouraged but permitted to have a dog with you as long as they are kept on a leash and picked up after. Service dogs are of course permitted.

Watched on Grow a,Greener World...so very impressed with your results . Live on Whidbey Island with 3 of 4 lots bordering Deception Pass Park thus deer..have some deer fenced....what have you done to control deer? Many thanks and getting your book.

I am a volunteer for the garden. They have a fence to keep deer out. The only part of the property deer can access has plants that deer don't care for.
