this place is staffed by the lowest class. They tell you to your face they won’t redeliver your package because they simply don’t feel like it. My package was sitting in the post office for the max amount of days before being sent back to the sender and every day I scheduled a redelivery leading up to the deadline. When USPS customer service instructed me to call and ask for the MANAGER to organize the redelivery, since the staff is collectively so lazy, the girl who answered the phone hung up before I could finish speaking. USPS customer service once again said that redelivery is sadly a courtesy and the staff at this location collectively decided they don’t want to do their jobs. So yes, they can get away with flat out telling you they don’t want to redeliver if they don’t feel like it. They hire low class disrespectful people.

I know USPS doesn't get many 5 star reviews but this location gets 5 stars for improvement. I live in the neighborhood and ship items frequently. Before pandemic there would sometimes be line outside and one person working there. It was truly an awful experience like DMV. Now everytime I go there, there are 3 super sweet and professional ladies at the window who help everyone in a friendly, courteous and efficient way. The line goes very fast even when it is busy. It is just so much more pleasant than in the past. Someone new is obviously in charge and they are doing a terrific job.

did they keep it at the postal office? This just happened to me after no redelivery attempt was made and I’m not sure if I should go to the office
You can't....you just have to come here and pick it up...
How can I track my package
If you haven't already gotten your passport by now, they don't offer that service, you will have to go to the office on Manhattanville post office on 125th and Convent, there you can do passports.
