Over one hour delay to pick up car

Pretty much the same as everybody else. Stood in line to find out that it was a 3 hour wait to get a car. Went to another counter & company that had car availability and they wanted $800 for a 4 day rental of a Mitsubishi Outlander. Yes $200 per day! My round trip airfare for Tampa/BWI and a car wasn't that much through Orbitz. Went back to the Thrifty counter with the, I'm gonna "Kill them with kindness" attitude. Wait was only an hour & car was upgraded over what I paid for. I saw a lot of other people yelling at the counter girl & I decided to make her day a little nicer by not taking out my frustration on her. People waiting before me were still waiting when I got called up for a car. All this being said, I will avoid using Thifty out of BWI ever again.

I am standing here with a reservation that I made over 4 weeks ago waiting for a car. They tell me there are none available for 2 hours! This level of customer service us absolutely appalling! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS DISORGANIZED and to quote the customer service agent ... "antiquated" company.

Avoid Baltimore thrifty and dollar. With reservation told us we would wait two or three hours never had this happen in 45 years
