Never, ever, ever use this rental service! They give you a pick up time and so far the entire waiting room is full of people who've been waiting hours!!! The crowd is literally clapping every time someone actually gets a car. A whole vacation day, ruined!

Beware at BWI they’ll make you wait in line for 30 minutes and then once you have been hard sold insurance etc they’ll tell you your car will be ready in 90 minutes. 2 1/2 hours to get your car. Totally unacceptable.

Depends on the size of the vehicle and the fact that you're renting from the airport. For example, you could rent a compact car at $50 bucks a day. Do you have your own full coverage car insurance? If not, you'll want to he covered. Now the rate is $65 per day. There are other upgrades offered too,but you can pass on those. Also, you have valid driver license and a major credit card. If you use a debit card more of a deposit is needed to secure vehicle. Finally, negotiate the price of a week long rental and there more manageable when you rent over the weekend. Business rates apply when you rent starting one weekday. Good luck!
A dedicated bus shuttles passengers to/from the terminal to the offsite car rental center. From there, it is NOT well marked how to exit the airport. Got lost. Twice.
I like Alamo the best but dollar rental was cool, there was a long wait at the counter but they were friendly
I don't remember them closing, but the time between each trip increases from 5-10mins during normal hours to about 25mins after midnight
