Coastal Christian is a fantastic church. If you are troubled, have problems and straying in your life...you will be welcomed. If you want to go to a deeper relationship with God...go to Coastal Christian. Pastor Matt Stokes is a very uniquely gifted and loving shepherd, and will care for you, and encourage your faith. Awesome, Godly, Filled with Faith. UPDATE! With the dumping of Pastor Matt Stokes handled so very poorly, we do not attend CCOC any longer.

Best church in this area. The pastors preach and teach straight from the Bible, verse by verse. In a country full of churches with watered down sermons, that take one verse from the Bible and then just rant about it for 20 mins, it’s refreshing to be back home where nothing is watered down, they’re not walking on eggshells as to not hurt anyones feelings, it’s straight biblical truth. Worship is the best and LOVE that they will work in some throwback songs as well. People are nice, not that sticky sweet nice that’s too much and seems fake, it’s a genuine nice. Both Matt’s have true GIFTS from the Lord to teach the Word. The sermons are well educated, thorough, and Spirit led and sometimes funny, but also have a way of keeping even a bored teenagers attention. The Holy Spirit is definitely moving in this place and in the hearts of those listening. So if you’re looking for a church to call home, that’s not boring, but also not too “new aged” and you want to grow in your relationship with the Lord and know the Word, this is the place for you.

I’ve gone to church my entire life … and thank GOD and the Holy Spirit for the foundation it has provided… Currently, I am a teacher at a Cumberland County Public School , a single mom, and entrepreneur, who in the last 2 years has dug deep into my soul for truth ! My home church is pushing the progressive movement , which even before I attended online to Coastal, was a major concern for me and my children… I love the verse by verse analysis and proclamation of the TRUTH Coastal brings … it has built a much better understanding and has motivated me to look deeper into the word … THANK YOU !!
