I've used Pierce County Refuse, a Waste Connections company, for over 16 years at my current address. They have always been a great company over a long period of time, with friendly and responsive representatives, and courteous and punctual drivers. Recently I had an experience that yet again made me feel like a very satisfied customer. I had just taken my trash bin to the side of the road, at the last second. I ran back in to get one last bag, but the truck was already emptying my bin when I came back out! But instead of simply driving off to the next can, the driver, Joe F, waited for me and let me put my trash bag in so he could empty the bin again. In a world where most people simply would've driven off without a second thought as to the customer, Joe's decision to wait really stood out to me as an outstanding example of work ethic and customer service. I enthusiastically say Thank you Joe, and thank you Pierce County Refuse; I look forward to many more years of outstanding service.

The customer service for this company is exceptional by far! All of the ladies I have spoken to have been so friendly, helpful and understanding. I’ve had to contact them more than once since we had a sudden move due to property owner wanting to sell during the housing market going crazy and once the truck forgot to pick up our trash, but it was never an issue calling for assistance. Always easy and quick along with a nice member over the phone. Truck drivers would always wave to us if we were home as well. Best refuse company we have ever had!

We have the best garbage man out there! Every Thursday our son wakes up knowing today is the day he comes. He gets SO excited when honks his horn for him and loves when he waves up to him in the window! TJ has left the garbage man notes, drawn him pictures, and in exchange the garbage man has given TJ little gifts too! Eric Shoemaker is one in a million! Icing on the cake was getting to sit in his truck! I have the happiest kid on the block!

They are still working remotely, so you will need to call the office.
Yes. None on Wednesday and after the holiday pick up is just one day late
Hi Mary, the plastic bags can not go in your household recycling cart. They can be recycled at most grocery stores. Thanks for asking!
It will be the day after your regular day.
Since we did not have garbage pick up last week do we put all of the garbage out that we have occurred in this last week with a garbage on Wednesday I read somewhere that it said it was we were gonna get charged so please get back to me please kiss we have garbage we live out here in Roy at heartslake road thank you
You will have to call them, they probably won't reply via maps. My neighbors have a collective dumpster and it's considerably more expensive as they're not cheap plastic, and they have to have a different kind of truck to come empty the dumpster. Expect between $400-600 for small 10yard dumpster, $500-700 for large 20yard. You also need a drive up space for it because they can't use a side truck picker.
Fake them?? Like a garbage bill?
Thats a good question....I would call customer service on the next business day to see what the reason was.
Have to be more specific. Dumpsters range from 1 yard all the way up to 40 yards. Office will be open tomorrow and can give specific rates.
You can take it to the LRI transfer station on meridian.
Unfortunately, poor weather conditions create unsafe and undesirable road conditions. Safety above everything else. Is garbage and recycling worth risking severe injuries or even lives?
I think it's required by Pierce County themselves ,but call to find out to make sure.
I heard there was a toxic spill on Palisade Blvd, so they weren't allowed to enter. I heard the whole area is being evacuated. Are you still there?
Call can you put the batteries in the garbage for larger batteries like cars Etc you'd call the landfill to find out what the supposal fee would be.
Lemay Pierce County refuge is not the landfilled if you want to dump something at the landfill you need to go to the one in Tacoma or the one in South Hill.
It can take up to 7 business days from the start of service.
Yes for a charge but you'll need to call customer service to find out the rates!
No. Garbage yes.
Your regular recycle service can not take glass, but they do have a glass drop off point at their office on 192nd where it will be taken to the proper recycling center.
You can look up schedules for specific addresses on their website or the mobile app
Landfill in lacey would know. Pierce county refuse is a vehicle facility.
No. You must take those items to Hidden Valley transfer station on meridian.
There are 2 sizes 65g and 95g. To answer your question, yes you can have multiple cans.
Not that i've ever heard if.
They are running on their holiday schedule. You pick up day is delayed1 day ie if your normal pick up day is Monday it is going to be Tuesday....the whole week schedule is shifted over one day. They are running Tue - Sat.
Correct.
Okay so I paid my bill two months ahead of time a week ago and they didnt pick my garbage up and when I called them they said that they would get it the following week and now my garbage is piled up I think that they are lazy. If I paid my bill it needs to be picked up
Today.
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do to stop them no matter who's right or wrong. LeMay does offer a carry out service meaning you don't have to put your can at the curb. The driver would walk up retrieve your can for service and place it back. That would probably be the best option to keep them from knocking it over.
We pay about 45 every 2 months, but rates differ if you need more than 1 can or do the plant bin.
