As soon as i made the long walk to the front parking lot. A large man came out of no where. I was startled bc I was by myself to meet friends already inside. The looming figure said 3 words... "No athletic wear". I was wearing an exclusive ivypark set with matching shoes. I explained this and all he did was shake his head. I left with a very uncomfortable feeling. I thought to myself... How hard it could have been for him to be kind enough to say more or at least identify himself as security. His clothes were all black with no identification (maybe I'm just used to security shirts saying...security???) If they wanted return business.. he could have said... "hey.. I want to save you the disappointment of getting to the line bc they won't allow your outfit inside. I hope you live close by so you can change and come back to enjoy the night with us" ... seems simple enough to me... I don't like how I was treated. I continued my night elsewhere bc there are too many options to count for nightlife in Jax. #duuuval

Was a lot better when it was 57 Heaven. Not a club anymore for the grown and sexy!! Smell of weed and they smoke it openly inside!!!

Your question is 3 years old now. Check the club website. They have changed style since you asked. They aren't 50's style anymore and now look like a club in Miami. They're now called Heaven not '57 Heaven. They might differ in music now too, I'm not sure.
No it is not a gentlemen's club! It is an upscale club...Monday nights are football and old school RnB. Fridays is Latin night and Saturday is RnB.

57 heaven 20 years ago was the place to be. They really don't play the real oldes. Oh well. I know longer go there. I've found a place downtown with live music and nothing but music from the 60(s) and 70(s). They have great steaks, crab legs, giant 🍔. Keep up with the times 57

57 heaven was the old club before it was updated. Now it's called heaven and a miami style club. Maybe your metal tin was a promo item from there? Look at the old photos on google, and see the old neon sign logo that said 57 heaven. If it doesn't look like that, maybe it's from somewhere else.
Sorry to hear about your prom issue. Google clubs that allow 18 and older. I'm not sure if there are any teen clubs in Jacksonville for 18 to 20 year olds. It sounds like an idea for a business.
