Excellent, friendly staff. Helped me with replacing a failed sensor. This product has literally saved my life many times!

My 6 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 on 9/11/2018. We were approved for the tandem pump and sensor around age 3. The first year was great it offered a simplistic life and gave accurate readings. The past year off and on; more specifically the last 3 months have been hell. My sons tandem pump with G6 sensor reads LOW, but the finger poke reads 256mgdl. I calibrate continuously and still inaccurate readings. My sons school has called me several times through out the day wanting to know whats wrong with the pump; why it isnot working properly. I never have answer for them. except that if fails and is faulty sometimes. My sons tandem pump has malfunctioned 3 times within the last month; in the middle of the night alerts and beeps sound and keep me woke every 30 mins. I send the pump data to our Endocrinologist and they blame me for the lows during the night. Its just a faulty product. It works when it works and when it doesnt, it drives me absolutely insane. All i want to do is keep my son healthy and strong. Tandem refers me to call Dexcom and all Dexcom does is send out a replacement. and the cycle repeats itself. My son has went into DKA and rushed to the hospital ER for observation. One time his meter said LOW beeping like crazy. I tested with Onetouch verio flex and his BG was 477mgdl. Thank God I have the reliable One Touch otherwise I could have given my son more simple carbs to bring up a incorrect BG reading. This is really dangerous and it really sucks that the Medicine and Pharmacy industry can get away with pretty much killing our T1D warriors. Like i said when it works it works. but when it doesn’t work my blood boils. UGGGGGHHHHH I’m so frustrated. Then I have to wait on hold for almost two hours just to troubleshoot only to have a new sensor sent out. Isn’t it possible that the pump can malfunction; it is not meant to last for ever. This is my sons life we’re talking about and I am so so so incredibly disappointed with Dexcom and Tandem. Each time we were in the hospital it was due to a pump or sensor malfunction. but what can we do.

Working for dexcom has been the most traumatizing experience of my life. Dexcom is the most corrupt company to work for especially if you're transgender or a part of the lgbtq community. I worked in membrane under James Marsh. He is the most vile, evil human being I've ever met. He is homophobic and transphobic. In my experience working for him was a nightmare. Everything that I was doing was being watched by his managers Joan Cassandra and Roma. He has made advances to plenty of women in his department. Once they decline the advances he starts giving them hell. I was forced to walk to QuikTrip to use the restroom because they made me feel very uncomfortable. Once I decided to make a complaint with HR he did anything to get me fired. I noticed that some of my punch times were changed so it would result in attendance issues. I dealt with a lot of verbal abuse from employees and nothing was done about it. After making a complaint to HR not only myself but my friends were targeted. I think it's funny how many people complain about him to HR and after the complaint is made they are fired. There needs to be an investigation within this company because in my documened experience the legal system will be involved. James Marsh also sent me an email stating that legally he did not have to call me by my preferred name & pronouns because it was not legally changed on my birth certificate. Corporate policy states you must respect somebody's pronouns & their gender identity. I was let go due to attendance issues. Like I said my times were changed so it resulted in attendance points. If you are transgender or homosexual please do not apply to this company. It was the worst and most traumatizing experience of my life. So traumatizing I had to seek therapy. I just want to write this review in hopes that it will help somebody. I don't want anybody to go through the trauma that I went through working for dexcom. If you do decide to apply here beware of James Marsh and Philip. People that have made complaints about James have been let go. Dexcom is a $300 billion dollar company and they really need to investigate who they hire as supervisors. Dexcom you need to do better because people are being targeted for being LGBTQ. It's sad.
