We did a picnic and enjoyed our walk around the marina looking at all the beautiful boats!

Lovely quiet marina. Docks recently upgraded as well as offset longer ramps to ease the grade. Issues I have found over the years: - Moorage is a yearly lease and cannot do month-to-month, this makes it hard if you don't know if you might be looking to sell/upgrade or move to a different location. - Can be hard to find parking during summertime holiday weekends - Far away from downtown - many charter boats on dock and frequently have kids/teenagers running around who've never been on a dock it seems - With as much as moorage is they still charge to use the shower (believe $.50/2 min) - Pump out station charges while Cap Sante Marina next door doesn't - Not the easiest to dock with limited space between piers and the wind/currents that come through the marina, not an issue of you have thrusters (best marina I have found that gives generous spacing between piers is Chinook Landing in Tacoma, never had a problem, not even during wind storms) - For fuel just go to Cap Sante, not only are prices cheaper but they also have ethanol-free gasoline - Biggest issue I have is the otters, they have made a mess on my boat every winter for the past 3-4 years. Management will get on your case and threaten to terminate your lease if otter poop isn't cleaned off your boat right away and blame your boat for the otters coming around. What do I like and why I stay and remain here: - Quiet - Security - nightly security and locked pier gates (unlike Cap Sante) - Amazing view of Fourth of July fireworks show over the bay - Breathtaking sunset and sunrises (this one requires a little driving for best views) - Each new finger dock has its own rub railing installed as well as edge roller - Docks are well maintained - Close to Ace Hardware, North Harbor Diesel, Ullman Sails, and Northwest Rigging All in all I love this marina, even if I don't take the boat out at all just going up and being at the top of the San Juan Islands with the view is well worth it.

There seems to be some confusion about the marinas in Anacortes. The ANACORTES MARINA is a privately owned facility with secured dock gates, covered moorage, private restroom facilities, and a boatyard. There is also an office building for many marine related businesses including Anacortes Yacht Charters, Yachtfinders, and Seattle Yachts to name a few. The Cap Sante Marina is a public marina run by the Port of Anacortes and is located just to the north of the Anacortes Marina. Some of the reviews shown here are describing the Cap Sante Marina - mentioning walkways, picnic, public restrooms/showers, Anthony's Restaurant, ferry parking. Hope this helps a bit when you read or write a review of the marinas in Anacortes.

Love watching the sunset and the deers. They also have great festivals and events here. Great evening drive.

Actually there are docks A-E or F (don't remember which). Most docks (minus the outer docks) have something like 80 slips. They keep the marina pretty full most months, but sometimes you can get lucky and rent a slip for a month or two while someone is cruising. Hope this helps.
Yes there is. There is also one that I noticed on T street and Thompson trail.
Tha Anacortes Marina has parking available for free for those renting slips, chartering boats, and guests of the Marina. At least one of the gates is closed every night. It is an open air lot, not a structure. Don't park along the front gate closest to the docks unless you have a permit, otherwise the rest of the spots are up for grabs.
Yes
Ed, you will need to contact the Marina office for a sticker if you occupy a slip
