The Mays Place BNB is a step back in time to the early 1900's. After several owners, the current owner bought out the last owner and their stock of antiques (it was an antique shop at the time). The antiques were put to good use and help to establish the period feel of the BNB. The only downside of the BNB is it sits on the corner of a busy intersection in Elgin. I recommend paying a little more for a bedroom away from the street. The Mays Place also has WiFi, modern TVs with Roku boxes, and an up to date kitchen.

Stacy was incredible, the house was quiet and beautiful with so many neat historical touches. All the amenities you could want, and a quiet night in comfortable beds. It was so magical, there was a doe and her fawn relaxing in the yard as I was leaving. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Rode the Elgin Excursion Train and then attended Chief Joseph Days rodeo. The May's Place was homey, and affordable. The bed was comfortable and the accommodations were clean with an antique interest. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely hostess fed us breakfast so we could get to visiting family in the area. Comfy beds and close to the Elgin Opera House so we strolled to the evening show.

I don't think it would be a problem. All done over the phone. Great place to stay, go for it
