I was told that they would not take a bill because it was ripped in half, the man even put me on hold for a total of three seconds to check with The lead operations specialist, but they would not take it. However I took it to another bank and had it cashed in no problem. Obviously he just didn’t want to put in the work that it took to have the bill sent to the IRS. I currently bank with PNC, but that will soon change.

No they do not give same day debit cards however they will give you a couple of temporary checks same day to use.
They're actually open an hour later than usual on Fridays... until 5PM
