My husband sent to Abrazo west because of high blood pressure by emergency room urgent care. . The Abrazo facilities are disgusting!!! Dirty, floors, treadmill broken when he to do a stress test???? What's up with that. Patient gowns had holes in them, several gowns he received were ripped. Dirty dirty dirty. The nursing staff, PCAs, CN are fabulous!!!!!! Doctors don't read my husband's chart, each time they came in, they asked the same questions and stat info not related to my husband or incorrect. This place hasn't changed when it was West Valley hospital π₯. The owners need to put money into this place!!! Cheap butts!!

They saved my life!

Never in my life have I been to an E.R so quiet, with little to no action or progress of getting people taken care of and on their way home. You could save time and probably life going elsewhere. I am literally blown away by the lack of care and consideration of peopleβs time and more importantly treatment of their pain or whatever their reason for coming here. Absolutely ridiculous.

I am so disappointed in the level of care provided by facility. I cannot say enough about the discouraging treatment I watch other patients receive, while me and my son waited to be seen. We waiting for over 5 hours, during that time we watched people in extreme pain, that were there before us, level to seek treatment at elsewhere. We watched a man stumble in, bleeding from his stomach vomiting, and the first people to help him were other patients in the room. Yelling this man needs help, getting a trash can for him to get sick in, helping him sit down so he didnβt fall to the floor. Meanwhile a staff member comes out after a minute, looks at him, leave and comes back a minute or two later. I am so disappointed in the lack of treatment they received. I am frustrated in my person, rather my sonβs, situation as well however that is nothing really in comparison. Over $1,000 to wait in the waiting room for 5 hours and been seen, by a great doctor (was billed separately for him), for 10 minutes and sent home. Edit -I have already voiced my concerns with multiple members of the staff at the hospital. Most recently today when discussing my charges, for my sons visit that day. The man I spoke with was extremely unprofessional, kept talking over me and said my perceived quality of care it not his concern and does not have to do will my request for the bill charges to be confirmed. However the care we received, lack of, and the extreme charge is part of the issue

how do I make an appointment for the vaccine I am over 65
AZDHS has a portal for making vaccine appointments. You have to create an account first before you can see the available appointment times/dates.
Not when family members can't be there. I'm sure they are quite happy to not having anyone watching what they are doing and holding them accountable.
Yes. I believe all jewelry has to be removed prior.
Just call and they will answer any questions.
I didn't deliver here but was here a few times in preterm labor and they acted like I was an inconvenience to them and would leave me alone scared for hours with no information on how they were going to stop my labor. I ended up being admitted for 6 weeks to banner good Samaritan until my son was born at 27 weeks. I feel like if I would have kept going to abrazo west my son wouldnt be turning 5 in a few hours. I would have lost him. Good luck and congratulations
Both of my daughters delivered their children there. Every time (4 different occasions) they were always in privayw rooms. They never shared a room from the time they went in til the time they went home.
I can't recall dealing with any African American doctors while I was there. But there are lots of people on staff from many different backgrounds. It seems fairly diverse. Not like the hospital that I went to in Memphis, which was nearly as diverse as the city itself, but that is to be expected somewhat I think.
This is the worst hospital I've ever been in. Everyone passes off responsibility for issues that should have been taken care of but never were. Request unnecessary test to inflate billing. I'll die in bed at home rather than be admitted there.
No one shoulld be at that "Hospital". That place is so dangerous. I went in vomiting blood , In 2 hours I was giving Morphine, Lodnim & Adivan. The Doctor said I had Pancreatitis, given3 different IV antibiotics. Pure madness in a shared room from roomates6 family visiting, even stopping to look at me while I lay there. Insisted on discharge so I could go 2 BANNER ESTRELLA HOSPITAL. UPON DISCHARGE THE NURSE SCRATCHED OUT THE DOCTORS DIAGNOSIS & WROTE IN GASTRITIS. Because she said "that's what I have". Went to BANNER was told I was lucky I didn't OD. I had Pancreatitis so bad it was effecting my other organs. Yup Abrazo is DANGEROUS. Go elder where... your life may depend on it SERIOUSLY
Hospital will give you a copy.
No
What questions?
There is no walk-in for Covid-19 shots if that's what you're asking about. An appointment is required. And you don't park. You stay in your vehicle.
Irrelavent. They'll tend to you no matter your sexual preference.
does not speak
Most in the area use Thompson's mortuary
All students have to learn, and all students are required as part of their certification to spend a rotation in the ER. They are well supervised by the attending practitioners while they are working, and they don't make independent decisions as students.
Private rooms
It's a hospital not a treatment center. If you're close enough to use this hospital and drive to the south side of the I-10 and Litchfield for Cancer Treatment Center of America.
I would think if they release the person medically then however they get home is the patients responsibility. So if that's the only way to get home, it beats walking! But go to Banner next time.
Yes you should, go to a different hospital tho
Well this person is not er did that last week went to ICU, then to 5th now back to 1st .... Let's play musical rooms the ambulance just took him thier. I not from here so I guess if I ever get sick I will know. I fo know ICU was great Er was awesome with me. It's just no answer to what happened. As for as I know they haven't even contacted this person regular doctor. Any other state I have been been in my primary care physician any time I ended up in the hospital the became part of the team.
