Dr. Blackstone performed surgery on someone who was like a father to me in October of 2019. After completing the surgery Dr Blackstone was noticeably distraught & was extremely aggressive & rude towards us (family debrief) as she tried to explain how big of a mess the surgery was (her complaint was that she scheduled a surgery before his & this didn't go well). After the procedure, Blackstone travelled to San Francisco. In the meantime her patient was transferred to intensive care and I was told by the nurse they could not find his medical records!!! He died. ..Dr Blackstone never saw my family or her patient after the initial procedure. There was NO FOLLOW UP. Days later the patient died. **WARNING**

No stars for this butcher. I came to her office as a scarred, impressionable 21 year old with a lot of family pressure. I had no pressing physical health concerns. She was happy to butcher my insides nonetheless. Gastric Bypass is butchery, and this woman is a butcher. If you're considering bariatric surgery, please read Lindo Bacon's _Health at Every Size_ first. You are not alone, and you are not broken.

Dr Backstone is very professional but also personable. Always returns phone calls and staff is polite and helpful.

Dr. Blackstone is amazing but her office is the worst. I've called 3 times over the past few weeks to have either a nurse or the Dietitian to get in touch with me and nobody returns phone calls.
