First of all it's not an easy place to find. You can actually ride past it depending on which way you come. When you arrive, in the parking lot you have to assume you're in the right place, on the right side. That's the first thing. Secondly, my wife & I were not greeted by any of the staff. Our realtor was the only one who reached out. The actual settlement went okay, although it did seem a little rushed. There were a few times when my wife asked a question and the answer was given so quickly that she needed it repeated. After signing all papers and receiving the check, she deposited the check that same day. When I looked at our account to see if the check had cleared I found out the check had been returned with a $12 return fee. I then contacted the Abstract company and was told there was a problem. The problem was that the county tax fee which was $1150 had not been taken out. No one informed us of this error. I was then told that a new check would be issued, sent overnight, and I should receive it by 10:00 tomorrow 7/21/22. We would have appreciated the courtesy of a phone call, text, or email informing and explaining what happened.The caveat though the have a nice office located in a nice building. And the lady who worked with us was nice. Wish I could say more.
