Worst company to ever work for. The seasoned counselors will not help new people unless there's commission involved. They will not set you up for success and will cry and pout every time you gain momentum, and find ways to sabotage. The more seasoned counselors are all buddy buddy with the supervisor, therefore get favor there and he will cosign their shenamigans. What they'll take away from you, they'll give to their favorites. As someone in their third quarter of mortuary school, you'd think instead of being FIRED, I'd be moved departments. Especially since I worked ELEVEN days straight before being fired, dediating my time and energy in this job. Just for that to mean nothing, to be sabotaged, bullied, and tossed aside like trash. You get more respect working at McDonald's than a Family Services Advisor. These people are only about dollar amounts. They will PAY each other to cover their graveside services and WILL complain about families they'll have to help if the family already has property. This funeral home has shown me the real side of the Funeral business, and since I no longer have student loans to worry about, I'm leaving this industry behind. This corporation is a joke and they will get theirs for all the families and employees they've disserviced.
