This was by far the worst time of my life but it was necessary. You have read so many negative things already and they were all true. I simply want to say that after nearly a year of being out of the Cheyenne center I am still clean and sober. Thank you God. I learned to make the best out of a bad situation and it’s paying off today one day at a time

I was here October-December 2019 (I think). Did I enjoy my stay here? Not really. Did Cheyenne center help me? Yes it did. I was doing drugs for years and was a functioning user, until eventually my life fell apart within a year or less. I had a choice between doing time and getting a record or rehab. Thankfully I chose the latter and even more thankful that I ended up in Cheyenne Center. Most people at Cheyenne know the addict mind and do their best to help people change their thinking and habits. It is not a pleasant process for most, but it works. I disliked basically everything while I was there (especially the first month). I though I was disrespected and demeaned by having to follow goofy rules or be kicked out. The reality is I did not respect myself, but rather had the illusions of self respect and control. What the staff at Cheyenne really did was to teach me to respect and love myself through accountability and responsibility in little things. If you want to stop letting drugs be an important part of your life and learn some discipline give Cheyenne Center an honest try. Rehab is not suppose to be a pleasant painless experience. It is suppose to be a shock to the system, although an empathetic and a thoughtful one. Most of the staff were strict, but kind and fair. Thank you Cheyenne center and all the people who work there. You literally helped me change my life. Tim G

Did you ever get in touch with your brother. Because I'm having the same problem. They won't even let me leave a number or message. So I over nighties first classes mailed him a letter and money and number to contact me and it arrived at two so I called them and they said they would not even give it to him till Monday

Absolutely he can have hygiene items. If you are getting him mouthwash, please make sure it is alcohol free. He can also have liquid detergent. Liquid detergent can contain bleach, however, he cannot have bleach by itself. Hope that helps. And thank you for your question.
