We've had a lot of yard waste. $39 for almost 700 lbs of the stuff. We had a little wait, but looked at the nice plants along the driveways. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful. We'll keep going back!
Otter Grotto
Excellent price for dumping yard waste. Well organized, and the lines weren't too long. I will definitely use this location again....

Staff are all super friendly and organized. Easy in easy out.

Its definetly one of the better dumps around here, but they clear out the dumping area for about 30 minutes around 1:30pm weekdays to make more room in the unloading area. We had to wait 30 minutes to get into the dumping area. The best thing here is that you throw your garbage onto the concrete ground. No need to through over a fence or concrete barrier. More efficient dump but used by many.

As of January 2022, $116 per ton, $22 minimum.
Yes south station is always open every 4th of July. North station is closed every 4th of july
I think it $38.00 to get rid of and I think they want doors removed. You can call them. You might try the metal recycling place in Georgetown they may take it free.
Theres a place across the street call household hazards waste and they should accept them.
Yard waste is not free. I believe its $21 flat fee for yardwaste
Yes they do
Yes, they take Drywall, anything but hazardous waste.
I don't think they do. Been there plenty of times and I've never seen porcelain specific recycling
Just bring it and tell them it's yard waste.
Very likely, they accepted credit card and debit/cash should be just fine. 👍🤞
Yes they do.
Yes u can
Yes they except all yard waste
Shreds can't be recycled (too small for the sorting machinery) but can be composted as yard waste. Fill paper bags and staple them shut, then compost the whole shebang.
Yes you just have to drop it off in the metal section.
No
Yes. It just garbage
Both. Garbage is $ 30. Mim up to 420lbs 145 a ton
No. You can check on here though https://kingcounty.gov/depts/dnrp/solid-waste/programs/take-it-back/electronics.aspx
Big screen TV should go to Best Buy. Call first. Small fee. Electronics should NOT go in transfer station.
Carpet ,padding, terrarium, trim moldings is all garbage and minimum flat fee would be $30 so yes we accept it. The propane grill we accept as recycling metal which is free to toss out and as long as there is no propane tank in it.
Garbage if glass is still in . Recycling if not
Toaster oven is free ,if the rice cooker is 60% metal it is free to recycle and styrofoam is considered garbage in the city transfer stations but can be recycled free at some king county transfer stations
Check their website. It's all listed there.
Latex paint is garbage you have to dry it out or put kitty litter in it house hold hazards waste is closed and is open Thursday Friday Saturday 8 30 to 4 30
To the best of my knowledge NO! SPU use to have a program but it ended. Well maybe 10 uears ago.
Yes we take metal. Ypu do nikk ot get paid for it and as long.as its 50% or m op re metal we take it. Also we do jot take oil tanks, propane or gas tanks. I'll show ya what happens if I can when propane is left
Around 30 dollars
You can use any vehicle that's legal to drive.
Empty the oil and gas first then yes
$13 for up to 4 in a single load
We take syringes in a container only
Yes, but they charge 30.00 and consider it an appliance. I think this is a ridiculous amount. I understand why people leave their trash along side the road. Sad!!!! And, if you drive around the corner there is sometimes a gal there that collects it for free to make a living. Nice to talk to as well.
Closed for all major holidays. Inlcuding labor day.
