My car was wrongfully impounded a couple weeks ago. Long story short, SDOT put up signage well after I parked my car late the night before and I had to pay over $250 to get it from the tow lot the next day.

SDOT's process for submitting any street use permit, Building maintenance or Building Construction permit is absolutely ridiculous. I have had to navigate my way through this S*** process for 2 months now. I originally called probably 9 times piecing together the information i needed that clearly wasent in the stupid "HOW TO" guide and they dont know what they're doing in that place minus one person named Courtney who is great. You guys need to seriously overhaul this process. its the dumbest thing ive ever had todo.

I don't live in Seattle, but I find it nasty and disgraceful for such a large well known city of Washington State. It has toooooooooooo many tent cities and crazies everywhere, I have never seen so many. Parking is a BIG joke. Park for 2 hours then sit for 30 minutes before you can pay for another 2 hours. Tried getting information on paybyphone, they were no help at all. I came here due to a medical emergency for my daughter and this unkind city seems only to have rules to hurt people not help them, what greedy scummy people Seattle is run by.

Shout out to Tim and James who cleaned up the blackberries on SWDakota and 23rd Sw stairs and did alittle extra by chopping down some on the city owned bank! Our pigeon hill has often been ignored by the city and Tim did just a little extra by helping us out! Every city employee should be like this!

We are asking , waiting for reply from the SDOT
No, King County Metro Transit is part of King County and independent from the City of Seattle and SDOT. You should start by visiting Metro's website at metro.kingcounty.gov. Go to the "Contact Us" tab and you will see several options.
Hey Shanta, I believe so! Check out SDOT's site for more information on RPZ permits: https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/parking-program/restricted-parking-zone-program P.S. SDOT doesn't respond to Google Maps questions but they are accessible by phone and online.
Yes.
Go to the www.seattle.gov website. Seattle Dept of Construction and Inspection is the department that issues construction permits for residential construction. Since you are impacting the sidewalk you may also need a street use permit
That is WSDOT, check their website.

I did that too. They just don't care if they get sued because of people being hurt. Oh well.
Check the snow map, also property owners are responsible for clearing the adjacent sidewalks.
With all the changes due to the tunnel and the bus being sent surface side, i would say permanently.
You should have asked/negotiated price first if they were not posted. Like most places, there are people looking to take advantage of others.
See the wsdot website or check on king5.
