I had a flat tire in the Atlantic City area last week. The AAA dispatched tow company replaced my flat tire with the spare "donut". I was alone and reluctant to make the long journey home with the "donut" tire. The AAA driver recommended Goodyear Auto Service in Pleasantville. I called them and spoke to Erik Ryan, a customer advisor there. He was friendly and professional on the phone. When I arrived, Erik helped me right away. I was on my way with a repaired tire in under 45 minutes. While I waited, I had a coffee in the waiting area and a nice conversation with Erik. Erik explained that if my tire was repairable, they would use a patch, rather than a plug. He explained all the reasons why this was the optimal solution. Lucky for me, the cause of my flat was not a nail, as I had suspected, but a faulty tire pressure sensor in the air valve. They technician replaced the faulty TPS. I was soon on my way for home with a repaired tire and a reasonably priced repair bill. They also checked my other tires. While I was there, Erik even replaced the battery in my key fob, with a ew battery I had with me.
