You're not Scottish/Irish, you're Americans. No other nation cosplays as another nationality because their grandad bumped into an Scottish person in a bar once. Edit: those aren't valid reasons. Your family are American. You're American. Stick with chanting U S A instead of dressing up.

Good solid hefty buckle. This is my second from USA Kilts. Good quality buckle.

I recently purchased another kilt for my collection and I have to admit that I truly love it. The experience was nearly seamless, and I felt respected and heard throughout. These are professionals who respect culture and style and the product they turnout is top notch. You absolutely won't go wrong with USA Kilts.

I can only say good things about USA Kilts. There service is top notch and very responsive. The products I've purchased have always been great quality and value. I love there videos, they're informative and fun.

It's not the "end of the world" to mix tartans, but generally speaking, I'd avoid it. I prefer to wear a solid color kilt that tones with the green or navy in the Leslie Hunting tartan.
It all depends on the context where it's worn and how 'traditional' you want to look. If you made it and you're proud of it, then wear it! Just recognize that you're mixing Scottish culture with American Southwest.
As a customer of theirs for 15 years and 15 kilts bought only through them. I'm so sorry you had a bad experience. I'm just a little confused because this is not a question but more of a comment or review. Is there a question I can answer for you?
I (Rocky) have both. I've been wearing my tactical boots more often as they are a little lighter weight and comfortable, BUT either will work equally well.
We are open by appointment only at this time. We're provide hand sanitizer at the front door and we insist all shoppers wear a mask in the store. Between customers, we wipe down the surfaces in the store.
If you input the word "Simpson" on our website, it will pull up any associated tartans. 😁
We've never had them reject a design and frankly, many approved designs are quite similar to each other. We HAVE had them reject a name and ask for it to be changed slightly, but it was never a big issue. Please keep in mind that you do NOT have to register a tartan you design. It does make it 'official' and record it for posterity, but isn't a requirement for the tartan to 'exist'. Example: We (several of our staff) love the Philadelphia Flyers and designed an orange and black tartan to wear with our jerseys. We didn't register it, but we wear it proudly!
They do not make utilikilts. You can ask them, but they will probably refer you to another company they trust.
I checked the Scottish Tartan Register and there is no tartan listed for William of Orange.
Try the Scotish Clan Authority? Good luck!
They dont have them on hand but can make one for you.
We do have some off the peg kilts, but they'll only be in universal tartans and probably not anything that small. You can see our stock supported range on our website here: https://www.usakilts.com/kilts-and-packages/kilts/kilts-in-stock.html
The surname Little is commonly found in the district of Angus, so the Angus District tartan would be appropriate: https://www.usakilts.com/advancedsearch/result/?q=little
Hi Bob, We don't make solid color utility style kilts. We leave that to our friends at Utilikilts.com or altkilt.com or freedomkilts.com. We just focus on tartans. 😁
Yes it can be made.
