Pressure valve replacement on main water line. Charles always does a great job! He is quick to identify the issue and address. Very pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend England plumbing!

Charles England came out to do the biannual servicing of my boiler. He did his usual fine job and threw in a free flushing of my hot water heater while he was waiting for the boiler to heat up. Highly recommended.

Excellent work and overall appreciated the dedication to detail, especially with one of the more important aspects of home investment - PROPER, and dependable water supply.

Questions & Answers

How much will your services cost?

England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021

It could be because of your water heater. The first thing we do is look at your water heating needs. Then we look to see if the water heater is working properly and delivering the water that it’s supposed to. If it is, it may just not be sized properly.

How can I check if I have a leak?

If you think you have a leak in your home, there’s an easy way you can check. Go out to your water meter and record the level. Make sure no one uses any water for a few hours, then go back and check the meter again (it’s easiest to do this when everyone goes to bed, then check it again first thing in the morning). If the level has changed, you probably have a leak.

How do I know if I need a new hot water tank?

England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021
England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021

If your hot water tank is 10 years old or older it is not very efficient and you should consider replacing it. When your tank is gurgling or popping, sediment has built up and it is only a matter of time before it leaks. When the temperature is not consistent, the components may be worn out and it is a good time to change it. Consider replacing your hot water tank with a 98% efficient on demand heater.

Should I repair or replace leaky faucets?

England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021
England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021

If you can repair the faucet and restore the shine on its finish, faucet repair is a perfect option. However, if your faucet is too badly corroded or too old to find replacement parts, faucet replacement may be easier.

Can leaks get bigger over time?

England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021
England's Plumbing & Heating | Nov 5, 2021

Yes. Water leaking out of your pipes or fixtures will eventually cause enough corrosion that even a pinhole-sized leak can eventually grow and potentially cause damage to your home.
