My boyfriend and I came to Bismarck for some shopping and a little get away this Friday. When we arrived at the hotel Troy was the only one at the front desk, he was doing an amazing job under the pressure of all the other guests checking in and coming to him with questions and phone calls. He also greeted us with a smile, very friendly, and made us feel very welcomed he informed us of the hotels amenities and told us to come down to the front desk with anything extra we may need. We will be coming back due to the smooth check in he provided us.

The staff here was so excellent! Front desk gals were helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as easy and homey as possible. They were great to my kids and treated them as their own. What a great place to stay. And a great swimming pool and comfy beds!

The pool area was disgusting. I was hesitant to even let me kids swim here. The non-slip tiles were falling off of the pool floor. The floors were gross. The railings to keep the little kid space separate from the older kid space could easily fit large kids through. I tripped on one of the floor tiles in the little kid area. The hotel room itself wasn't too awful, but hadn't been fully cleaned or vacuumed. Really disappointed, overall.

Stayed here two years ago and the room was disgusting, food and crumbs on the floor, stains on the furniture, & the blood on the bed sheets. Yes, you read that right, blood. We were hoping things had changed and stayed there again this last weekend because we had friends staying there. The experience wasn’t much better: 1. We attempted to check in at 4:30 and were told our room hadn’t been cleaned yet. They said they’d call when it was ready. Hour and a half and no call later I stopped back, went to a different clerk and was checked in at that point. Hour later I received my call from the other clerk. I simply told her I already checked in. That was at 7 PM, check in is listed at 3 PM. 2. Upon entering the room it looked decently clean. However, upon closer inspection while playing with our 8 month child on the floor, we noticed the nastiness. Food crumbs, random garage all around the edges of the room, & then nail clippings all over, yes, finger &/or toe nails. 3. The pool area had some potential if it were to be maintained. It was pretty dirty, not just the pool itself, but the commons area and equipment, as well. The hot tub was so shallow the jets were showing. A ladder in the pool we attempted to use didn’t have a bottom step so we couldn’t get out at that spot. 4. Upon check out, I asked for an extra hour of late checkout since our child was napping. We were immediately told no. Not the worst issue by any means, but a minor inconvenience. I would advise avoiding this place at all costs. It’s not worth the experience.
