Best hotel bed I've ever slept in! Yes, location is convenient and the service was everything I've come to expect from them. But the bed, man the bed was the best. Will 100% stay here on every future trip to Aberdeen.

I highly recommend this hotel as we have stayed here numerous times. The front desk and breakfast staff has always been kind and helpful. The rooms are clean. The pool is great for kids young and old.

Please maintain the pool better. It's overly chlorinated, water is murky and it caused my son to have an asthma attack. I didn't go underwater and my throat burned. Also, housekeeping is rude. Trying to push guests out before checkout is annoying. Mattresses and breakfast were great though.

The hotel interior was reliabiy clean with full breakfast. Most staff were helpful and friendly, save for one clerk who chastised me for using the desk phone. The manager was very responsive to any concerns I had. I would suggest organic food for breakfast including soy milk and cold cereal with little or no added sugar. We are in the midst of a climate crisis and I, as an environmental scientist see great opportunities for IHG group to reduce their environmental footprint, primarily with waste reduction and energy efficiency. The service ware for breakfast is all foam and the room has nothing but plastic cups and glasses. All of this should be converted to reusuable dishware which would generally reduce the carbon footprint by 2 lbs for every pound of waste eliminated with reusable items. The hotel lobby and dining area were extremely overlit and the TV was running 24/7. Both of these issues can be addressed with room occupancy sensors, turning off the TV unless asked and reducing light wattage and the number of lights used. Additionally, room heating and cooling could be more efficient and quieter. Lastly, the hotel grounds were littered with cigarette butts which is both unsightly and unhealthy. As an IHG member, and IHG as a member of society, it is imperative the organization steps up to do its part to minimize its carbon footprint and help address the climate crisis.
