Therapy team is knowledgeable & fun. The food is good, I can always find something I like. My room is comfortable and housekeeping cleans it regularly. Sherry is very helpful at the front desk.

The outside of this facility looks so promising, but don’t fall for it! My father was sent there after his back surgery and the experience was a nightmare. There is ABSOLUTELY no communication with family when the need is there. They only call if there is a fall to cover themselves because there might be a mark from the fall. My father started talking and acting abnormally with hallucinations and no help when I said something was wrong. I am a medical professional and know that is a sign of a UTI. After 2 days of asking for help, I had to get serious and ask for him to go back to the hospital. They finally ran tests and found out he DID have a UTI. Instead of starting meds, they sent him to the ED for a CT of the brain because they thought something more was going on. That’s appreciated, but they never informed me of him being transported and they didn’t send him with a nurse to do this test. Of course, being highly confused, that experience was a nightmare. If I would have known he was being transferred, I would have been there. He ended up being admitted back to the hospital because the ED doctor didn’t feel comfortable sending him back to the facility. On top of that, I got a call the next day from the facility asking me for an update on my father. Seriously?! He is under “your care” and they were calling me for an update after they sent him to the hospital? The nursing and administrative staff are completely incompetent. The administrator I spoke to last told me once he is discharged he will have the opportunity to come back since he had the initial insurance approval and that will not be happening!
