Mike Durr and the service provided by Kingwood Mortgage Guys was EXCEPTIONAL. He went above and beyond to make sure my family was informed, educated, and comfortable with the entire home buying process. It is no secret that buying a home can be pretty stressful, but Mike made sure the process was as pain-free as possible! I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a new home to reach out to the Kingwood Mortgage Guys...it was one of the best decisions my family ever made.

We closed our first home purchase with Mike and his team. They were fantastic and we would highly recommend them. The process was smooth, and Mike was always there to answer any question we had. From the first call we could tell he is an honest person working on your best interest, he has the heart of a teacher so he would answer any question to the best of his ability, loved the videos he did to go through the loan step by step so you don’t need to go to the office. Awesome team!

Yes, its a little trickier for lenders because they don’t know how to measure risk without a history to rely on. But lenders will allow you to get home financing when show non traditional credit history.
It doesn’t hurt to look at your credit first, only problem is most consumer credit reports are not the same as mortgage company credit reports. It will give you a general idea, but I suggest you just call your mortgage professional.
