I highly recommend CalvIn's! I called them for a 2nd opinion after receiving a recommendation from another company that due to a freon leak in our 13-year old unit that uses R-22 freon (which is no longer legal to be produced in or imported into the United States), that it would be better to replace our system ($12K - $14K estimate). This recommendation was based on the cost of the R-22 freon ($488/lb) and the amount that it would take to recharge the system (10 lb). Spencer from Calvin's quickly identified and repaired the leak and recharged the system. The R-22 freon cost was only $225/lb, (not $488 as quoted by the other company), and much less than 10 lbs were required. The total cost of the repair (including reattaching an air duct knocked loose by the previous company) was less than $600. I highly recommend Calvin's and will call them again when in need of HVAC service/repair.

We recommend servicing HVAC systems in the milder fall and spring seasons before the heat of summer or the blast of winter. Find out what heater performance tune-ups and air conditioner tune-ups involve. Regular maintenance also preserves the manufacturer’s warranty on your air conditioner and heater.
The short answer? So important! Your indoor air quality can be as much as 100 times worse than the outdoor air. That means pollutants, allergens, dust, and mildew can be circulating in your home affecting your family’s health and wellbeing. Improving and maintaining your indoor air quality is vitally important to your home and family.
While boilers and furnaces both send heat into a home, a furnace uses forced air into a house through ducts. A boiler heats up water and sends steam or hot material throughout pipeworks in a home. These pipes radiate heat outward into a house or radiant floor system. These unique systems require different repairs.
These often mean that something is unbalanced or broken in your unit.
Regular AC maintenance can extend your cooling system’s life past the average lifespan of ten to 15 years. Leaks, dust, pests, and debris throughout your system can significantly affect your air conditioner’s effectiveness and create ideal conditions for components to break down. Without proper maintenance, you risk your home’s safety and sacrifice your indoor comfort.
Yes we service nearby areas as well!
Depending on the type of heater you have and its manufacturer, it’s probably designed to last from 10 to 20 years, even with regular maintenance.
The purpose of an air filter is to capture dust, dirt, bacteria, and any other airborne pollutants from your home’s air. Air filters not only protect your HVAC system but they provide clean air for your home and prevent you from breathing in harmful pollutants.
