Ported into Dallas. I went through orientation and have all my documents in hand. They sent me a code to register in rentcafe, so I can upload my documents. The code is not working and I have reached out to the case manager (Katreina Jones) and the supervisor (Cindy Quezada-Rios) by email. I've also called and I have not gotten ANY response from anyone. It's been over the allotted 24-48 hours time allowed and still nothing. What's the point of going through orientation if the employee's are not going to do their part?!

Horrible, I ported my voucher to Dallas and I am a first time voucher applicant. My case manager is not supportive, not helpful when I have questions she directs me back to my previous housing authority. I have wasn’t 3 weeks going back and forth with her via email, doesn’t help with finding a place after I’ve done everything she’s told me to do I even asked if she knows any places I can maybe contact. I’ve call and out in requests with DHA customer service for a supervisor to call back over 3 times in the past errand no response. This housing authority is just unprofessional and makes you feel like you’re a burden. When I told my case manager I called over 50 places and only 2 take vouchers and have waitlist she told me she read an article how 1000,000 families moved to Dallas and suggested I contact or port back to my original housing. Mind you my original housing can’t guarantee they will extend my voucher again. Stephanie is not a good case manager in my opinion, she always has excuses and and will direct you back to your original housing instead of helping. Atleast with my original county when I got my voucher the case manager called or attempted multiple times to help me find a place.

If they had the folks here in Dallas, Texas. As committed as those who are elsewhere.. I would definitely give them a five star rating.

I evacuated to Texas for Hurricane Ida I called portability here because I have my Voucher in hand & wasn’t sure if I would have a home to return to! Lisa Shaw in portability, referred me to an email address that would never be answered! She’s in a position to give me all the info I needed but she decided to shun me away These ppl are COLD & Uncaring at the highest level Now Houston is gettin it from hurricane type weather as I speak Also Plano & Grand Prairie housing put up a voicemail that stated portability was closed! Never kick or look down on a person when their homeless because you never know what your situation could be in a matter of minutes, most importantly God is watching and he will take care of it ALL!!!

They're reasonable price at the Midpark Towers, in Dallas, Texas.
They are only billing not absorbing so if your state isn't going to continue to pay for you to move there then no they are no excepting port ins
Just call Dallas Housing in see if there taking vouchers, Then you go form there, Any area code good luck
