It doesn’t really get restocked and according to this kid who lives in the area, residents will often catch any big fish and take them home to eat them. On the plus side, when there is fish here they are usually easy to catch, but that’s also it’s downfall.

Its a pond! Its kind of round, its filled with water, it has one or more waterfalls, and from my last check, there are literally hundreds of types of animals in and around the pond, if you count insects! There are several nice benches to watch the fountains, and there are at least two sets of herons and egrets that visit almost all year round. I am not completely sure what type of fish reside in this pond cluster, but there are definitely sunfish biting typically. Be on alert for water moccasins, but the lawn around the pond is kept nicely mowed, so you should see them long before you are close. Fortunately and unfortunately they are a natural part of the north Texas ecology, so be mindful that they live here too.
