Apparently Petco does not groom dogs that have medical issues, especially senior dogs. It was explained to me through Petco in Shoreline, that it’s a corporate business and so they’re a lot more careful than other non-corporate groomers. This was not explained to me in South Marysville. They’ve canceled on me twice with no notice for my senior dogs, even though I had made the appointment and given them the medical information when the appointment was made, and canceled without much explanation at all, no apology for last minute cancellations. Maybe they don’t have good communication for when the appointment is made and the day of. Shoreline was a bit nicer about it, still a bit cold. That hadn’t been my experience in Shoreline before. Maybe new staff or maybe they’re just all cold to people who have senior dogs with medical issues, which is just awful.

We went in with questions about fish. Mallory was very friendly and knowledgeable. Katherine, our cashier, remembered us and greeted us with a smile.

Went in today to buy a couple of items. When the cashier came up, a girl dressed all in black with glasses and dark hair came up to check us out. She did not say hello, was not pleasant in any way, did not thank us for donating to their charity or shopping, so I told her she should have, that was her job. Her response was to chastise me that she had told us welcome in when we walked in the store. I told her that's is no excuse not to be pleasant to customers at the register. I will not be back. They lost a grooming customer, and customers in general. Teach your people simple customer service.

I went here in the afternoon on April 1st interested in buying a beta fish for my son. Two very sweet adorable brunettes helped me figure out everything I needed from the quietest filter for my tank to the tiniest of snails and shrimp and everything to keep our fish tank clean and our fish healthy. You could tell that they really loved working with animals and I am excited to purchase my next pet from this location. Thanks again!
