The Woodlands Waterway

Lots of turtles, ducks and fish in the water, so yes like Kristen Wiener said, don't get to close to the water (if your pup likes to chase them). I dont know of any pet friendly bars/pubs/restaurants on the waterway though. But you can check on www.bringfido.com they have most places listed, Have fun!

No. The woodlands waterway is not a park, it is more of a different way to walk to stores/restaurants (instead of walking on streets). A place to ride boats that they have.
