Living with chronic pain has been challenging. UTSW has done all they could do for me and now it is just “pain management.” Having done everything from spinal shots, pain patches, tens units, and even cryo therapy. Nothing helped. I finally decided to try acupuncture (even though I hate needles!!). Modern Acupuncture has been a BLESSING!!! It is not a cure for me, but it has given me part of my life back! I am able to get up before noon! My pain has “dulled” for lack of a better word! After a session, sometimes I feel like I’m floating! Ha! I am relaxed, but energized!! The staff (Hannah, Amira, V) is so friendly and genuinely care about you! As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is calm, beautiful, (very Zen!!) and I feel my body begin to relax. The acupuncture doesn’t hurt at all and the massage recliner is heavenly!! Ms. Kim is fabulous and I have complete trust in her and her skill. Call Modern Acupuncture today and go see for yourself! You have one body in this life-take care of it!!

i use to love coming here but now they're just taking money out of my account and when asked about a refund they said no. They also said they would inform me via text and/or email when another payment is due before taking it out and they did no such thing. I told them since last month I wanted to cancel and they did nothing. This is not how to run a business. I am never going back again. Posting personal business on a public page is not right. I did not see any other replies where you posted other people's business. I am sure this is a HIPAA violation

My first visit was amazing, the front desk person was friendly and professional and my acupuncture therapist Kim was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. The second visit was horrible. The front desk person had no customer service skills, was wearing a sweater jacket that made her look homeless-excuse my description and the acupuncture therapist never introduced his self to me, not friendly and did not even talk to me about procedure or how I felt afterwards. I specifically booked a table session for my back. They even had to change my appointment from 1120 to 1200 to accommodate this visit. The only thing the the acupuncture therapist stated to me is, once again did not ask me how I was feeling or give me any instructions after the treatment was next time you book and need your back done you need to let them you need a table. I told him I did and he stated there was nothing noted, like this was my fault. Very poor customer service. ON last visit I was going to buy the 3 package treatment but was also wavering between the monthly membership. The nice desk person that day stated when you come for your next visit just let them know what package deal you want before you start the session. When I arrived for this horrible session I informed Amira that I would like the 3 package deal, she stated after the session we would talk. When I came out of the session, she stated it would be $79.00. I informed her as I did prior to the session I wanted the 3 package deal. She stated you can not get that deal it is only on the first visit, and it says that right her. I informed her what I was told, but she did not care. Well they have now lost my business and my wives because she was thinking about going there and hopefully if anyone else is thinking about acupuncture, I would not go here again, unless you like poor customer service. I feel bad for the owner, I wanted to reach out to her prior to leaving this review but she is out of the country. I hope she sees this so she can address the customer service issues.

"We offer 30 minute acupuncture sessions. Convenient for lunch breaks, after work, and any time in between."
"We offer two main kinds of acupuncture: Health and Glow. Our health sessions provide treatment to various areas of the body, pinpointing your concerns for relief and well-being. Our glow acupuncture is a toxin-free beauty treatment to help skin naturally regain its glow."
We offer community style acupuncture, with partitions on the side of your station. There are no completely private rooms. We only treat areas on the body that do not require the removal of clothing and allow you to relax in our zero-gravity, heated massage recliner.

"Our needles are extremely thin, smaller than a single strand of hair. Most of our patients don’t feel them or describe the sensation as a “tingle” preceding a sense of relaxation. Sometimes they forget they have needles in them! Our acupuncturists can adjust if there is any discomfort."
"We hire Licensed Acupuncturists only. This means 3-4 years of post-graduate education which includes a masters in acupuncture, passing 3 boards exams and certification with the NCCAOM. You are in good hands!"
"We don’t accept insurance at this time. We believe acupuncture should be accessible to everyone, regardless of coverage. We work to make our rates affordable and competitive with a typical co-pay."
"Most of our acupuncture clinic accepts walk-ins. However, to ensure that you can be seen at a certain time and without a wait, we recommend making an appointment by calling our location."
