Honestly, Raider Express & the FTW school is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. No one in any position asked me to write a review. I obtained my CDL. Everyone there just simply cares about you. They know the struggles, and everyone in the Raider Express family wants to see you grow and wants you to be successful. Captain Kirk is one of the most helpful so as everyone else. My experience with Captain Kirk was totally awesome. We would have jokes, talk about life experiences, and learn. He explains everything you need to know. CPT. Kirk is the most down to earth person. It doesn’t matter where you come from. If you are willing to learn and PAY ATTENTION to what he says you’ll pass your drivers test. Even in your first week of obtaining a CLP if you put time and hard work. You’ll get it. Everyone in the FTW School and Raider Express is there to give you the fundamentals on what you need. As what CPT. Kirk says, the recipe is given to you. You just need to bake the cake. Thank you too all of the FTW School and Raider Express family for helping to start my new journey in life. If it wasn’t for the FTW School and Raider Express I don’t know where I would’ve started my career.

My husband applied and apparently it’s up to the boss lady (Abby Tham) if you can move forward with the program. My husband had all qualifications and was still turned away for no reason. Every time I’ve called I’ve always received rude people! I don’t suggest this program. It’s not open to everyone, they like to pick there workers/drivers.

Great Program! I would highly recommend the Fort Worth CDL School to anyone that is Serious and hard working. They provide all the basic knowledge to get you started, then help you along the way with weeks of training. I’ve been Solo now since early June 2022, I’m loving it! Looking forward to growing with the Raider Express Family!

I am glad that I made the decision to apply to the Fort Worth CDL School. The instructors are very fun & knowledgeable. I was able to obtain my CDL License in four short but intense weeks. Driving for Raider wasn't a good fit for me, but I do appreciate the training & now I make really good money somewhere else. Thank you from B.King and family...

Can you tell me where they pay one for training?
No evening is Monday to Friday 7:00 -5:30 .if some students need extra help some time it well came one Saturday
Theres no contract to specifically work for Raider. However, they do only hire if your willing to work for Raider. So possibly work for them for a few months then work for family?
Im still in training, but as im told the longer you stay out, the more big routes you get. First year solo gets base pay 38 cents a mile. Thats at 488 miles a day, totally doable, but you dont always drive every day. Some days you a get a few hundred miles and sit at the shipper the rest of the day, but they are good at getting you layover pay if its been too long. But out training, ive only had to sit a day or two because we were too early. You should do it! Its fun!
Nope all depends what felony it is and how long was it You may whant to ask are recruiters personal they well be able to get tha answers. But I think is a clean record
Good driving record no felonies I already have my class a permit with tanker and my Dot medical
I don't think they do i just left from training there and it was Monday thru Friday 7AM to 5pm
Yes they train to hire
Depends on how much miles you drive. You average $1064 for 2800 miles/week. So around 50k+ average.
5 weekd
Do you provides for ppl like me who would be coming from far
Deceptive & mileading
If your worried I wouldn't chance it because you wont be able to do it again if you fail
You don't do a test at the DMV. You take it on their property with a certified tester. How many chances depends on if you're using the tools they gave you or not.
You can drive a school bus with a class a just need to get your passenger and school bus endorsements go to any isd your trying to work for they will train you
Well, yeah. The written test is pretty easy. I barely studied and pretty much aced it. Its mostly common sense, and the rest you should already know from your class c exam.
They give you a job through their company
They will only offer you schooling if they want to hire you.
Everyone is trained in automatics and the restriction is put on ur TX CDL
No contract at end of cdl but you become a raider employee if you elect to take the otr training.
Its all free
I don't think so but not totally sure. My suggestion is apply or talk to a recruiter.
No, while in the school you stay at La Quinta, they do have a shuttle to the achool and back.
Nope Monday tru Friday only 7:00 to 5 :15
Not any that I know of. And honestly after being on the road for a month, I'm happy I went to this school because I promise you just because you have a CDL doesn't mean you know how to drive an 18 wheeler safely or effectively. After 4 weeks of school, 28 days OTR training and a month on the road by myself, I'm just now starting to feel like I'm getting the hang of it. If you are thinking seriously about a career in professional commercial driving, there's literally no where else that can offer the same quality of education and experience that these people can.
Its pretty cool you will do four weeks of training within that time you will get the skills you need to pass your cdl test after. You pass you will get put with a otr trainer he will show you the ropes after your 28 days with him or her you will pretty much get your own truck you get paid for all of this of course and you will be working for raider Express good company if i say so myself
