This place deserves negative stars. If you can go somewhere else I would advise you to do so. It takes 6 or more hours to see a doctor. The registration staff is rude & lack common insurance knowledge. Once you are triaged you are stuck because you will be charged whether you stay or go. The registration staff said fight it with the insurance. The fight is fruitless triage is considered a visit. Shouldn’t you know this if your working hospital registration? Besides who wants to be checked in by someone with a bad attitude & large chest tattoo? If unprofessional was a person they would work at this ER.

I saw the ENT doctor Branch. While waiting in the patient room, I could hear my doctor in the hallway talking about his house renovations and asking a nurse how much weight she’s losing instead of coming in the room. Then, he proceeded to ask me if I was wearing a college shirt “because I actually went there or just liked the shirt” and I told him what profession I wanted to pursue (pediatrics) and he said it “isn’t the most reimbursing job” and that it was boring and that’s is why he decided not to go that way. Once he actually started to ask about why I was in the office I i told him what was wrong with my ear and he checked and said I don’t see a problem and I told him to look again and then he realized there was a problem he just overlooked it not paying attention.

They lose urine samples & have no communication skills/miscommunication. I got there at 11:30 for abdominal pains on my right side & initially, everything was going pretty good. They drew my blood, had me submit urine & took my vitals all within an hour of me being there. Then things slowed down. It was another hour before they called me back to tell me my blood tests looked fine so that wanted to do a CT scan to see what was going on. Then they told me they couldn't find my urine sample & asked for bother. I went back for the CT scan at around 2. It took about 15 minutes & when it was over, the tech walked me out through the patient services office & told me they'd contact me with my results. Only for the emergency department to call me back an hour later saying I was supposed to return to the waiting room. I informed her what happened & she said she doesn't know who told me that. I informed her of that as well & she said okay, thank you, bye. I called back twice because no one answered the 1st time & the lady who finally did answer told me that if I came back, I'd have to stay everything all over since I left. Although I was instructed to do so. She said I could view my results from the app/webpage with a Healthcare professional but they were never uploaded. I will not be returning at all.

Went to this particular ER around 8:30pm. That same day at 2am, I began having severe stomach pains and diarrhea. This lasted throughout the day. Long story short, I get admitted but don't back to the room till 3:30am. I can live with that. They gave me a container saying they need a sample of my stool. Never said bring it back when your done or anything. I see others coming in after me and taking their samples to the nurse. So I did as well. She said leave it there next to 3 other samples not labeled or anything. So I ask, are you at least gonna label mine. She did. I go to the back, get examined and all in all the doc prescribed me a over the counter hemaroid cream. 2,300$.... For all that. Went to my PCP the next day and was diagnosed with food poisoning. He gave me a prescription for it and the next day I felt way better. Never coming back here again and I will deter anyone I know from going either

By law, any licensed medical care facility is required to treat you in the event of a life threatening emergency.
Yesterday was the first time I went to Midlothian for care. The Urgent Care saw me with an appointment with the same co-pay as my doctor in Waxahachie, and everyone was really nice. The center was clean, efficient, the wait time was minimal. I think you could call and ask about volunteer opportunities, good luck.
I think so
Yes but by appointment only
Not sure, maybe it's an appointment covered by Medicare or Medicare set up the appointment????
Im not sure. I just call the emergency room an they transfer me
Yes but I wouldn't advise it
Visiting hours are open, but the main entrance is locked at 9pm so visitors must enter through the emergency department after that time.
All you need to do is ask for them. But the only way you are going to get them is, by you being on his medical insurance and that you have authorization to get them.
Call the desk in icu
We have many new Doctors that have came to Waxahachie Baylor. I am not sure. But you can go to Baylor Web page and there is a place there where you can check it out or call the hospital and ask. I feel that we do, but not sure. Sorry I couldn't be more help .
Not in the hospital, but there is a family practice and several specialists in the professional center next door. You can make an appointment to see any of them.
Yes
Yes we do! http://www.entwaxahachie.com/Pages/default.aspx
No. It is a hospital.
Yes
The best and cheapest way to test for flu is through your primary care physician.
I'm not sure what that is but if you meant oncology then yes they do according to there website.
Yes, this is a legitimate hospital. Not a front for the Yakuza or a secret nuclear launch site or whatever you had in mind.
