Updated Gym hours due to the pandemic have never been updated to normal. The sauna has no been open for two years. Having to wear a mask while lifting weights but not on the cardio machines makes no sense. Useless rules despite the mandatory vaccine like this does not bring morale to sailors, MRW does not live up to its name. Get a membership other somewhere else if you care about your well-being.

The family center is pretty large. Tv with movies available for the kiddos and mostly only foam shapes for the kids to stack/build and one activity cube. I do wish the free weights went higher than 15lb. While they do have a few weight lifting machines to supplement that I prefer free weights.

I LOOOOVE this gym. It has everything you need! However, it would be nice if it was a 24/7 gym. If there was a way to do that, I would cancel my other gym membership and if I could, I would volunteer to help at this gym during my off time. Regardless, I still use it. The staff is super friendly!! I’m only rating 4 stars for hours; otherwise, perfect!

GREAT GYM and GREAT STAFF Come out to the gym and do a walk around to see all the equipment and how clean it is. Talk to the Staff if you have any questions or if you need training on how to use the equipment. The Personal Trainers are available and really knowledgable. They can tailor a program just for you. You will find almost every size, shape, and age people out there working out and having fun. Almost everyone is apprehensive when they go to a gym so you're not alone. Just do it and enjoy one of the finest gyms in the Navy.
