off-duty officer pointed a gun at a man and refused to provide name or badge number, other officers seemed untrained and incapable of de-escalating the situation
Jeff Yates
Extremely untrained police officers and very dangerous to the public.

They don’t care about your son’s employment, in fact it is very likely their intent is to extend the delay as long as possible in an effort to cause him to lose employment. Law Enforcement personnel are very vindictive. They know an incarcerated subject has a lower chance of being granted bail and/or a bail reduction if he is unemployed, and terms of probation are usually much stricter for the unemployed.

Call the circuit clerks office
No but you can send them money and they may purchase stamped envelopes
There are chaplians and I can't remember exactly what denomination they are. If the inmate has a preferred religion he may have one that is registered as a chaplain come to visit him without using his visitation times
Non-emergency number
Go to www.winnebagosheriff.com and look them up
Go to www.winnebagosheriff.com then search inmate with his name.
Winnebago county court docs online

Not in Winnebago
Add money on books
It is always best to appear for court. Sometimes they are updated and may put a bench warrant out for your arrest.
If not an immediate emergency call the non-emergency number and explain your situation
No, you still have to go through Illinois Basic Correctional Course.
