Sad that a friend of mine was turned away because “ we have never built a ramp for a child “ . A ramp is a ramp . Children are in wheelchairs too not just elderly. So i hope everyone sees this . Sad

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! Husband and I came through because we are building a greenhouse for the back yard. The store was disorganized, small / dirty, poor selection, and the workers were very rude! Not only were we followed throughout this grungy building but frequently heard the workers loudly complain about how customers cant read due to them opening boxes to inspect the merchandise. Keep in mind there were signs ALL OVER THE WALLS that said "all sales are final, not refunds, no trades, no cash back, ect". Plus, NONE of the merchandise presented had complete sets. It's like going to a Pick and Pull and grabbing one piece of a larger item i.e fan motor but no blades, or a lawnmower frame but no motor / gas tank. Really sour experience! I can't see how this particular store is helping ANYONE. Keep in mind I am from Norfolk, Virgina and so the habit for humanity there is very different!!! It featured not only builder grade materials but furniture, China, pianos, books, appliances, antique doors, antique windows, and storm shutters ect. So my expectations were abit higher. Plus, the workers were FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL with many in the community helping, donating, and volunteering. This Ft. Hood store greatly missed the mark!

Good afternoon. We do take used appliances, however they need to be fairly clean and in good working condition. Does the spring prevent usage of the item? If you'd like to go to our webpage we have a schedule a pickup button that will walk you through the steps.
Yes we do. We currently schedule our pickups through our website.
Yes they do
You can call and ask them before you go over. Their inventory changes often.
No ma’am we do not. Please follow us on Facebook because we always post new items that we have in store.
Hello Diane, please call our ReStore at 254-554-0924 during our business hours (tues-fri 9am-5pm, sat 10am-5pm) and a ReStore associate will be happy to assist you!
Well ma'am, I will sure that you can find a quality laundry room door in the $50 price range. Less if there appears to be wear and tear, possibly more if it is a solid core door, etc.
You (or anyone) should first apply for the ramp build instead of looking to pay for one yourself.
Just bring the paint to HfH
Occasionally. There was one there this weekend but I don't know if it was electric or not
Occasionally people will donate appliances, but the types and quantities differ from day to day.
Habitat for humanity has an inventory that is constantly changing because it is all donated items. Some new, some used.
I would recommend visiting their website and giving them a call
Try calling local churches
U can call 1800 habitat......talk to them. They do require sweat equity...someone from your group weould have to help i think ...and you would also have to qualify first
