I shot them a call with regards to some antique furniture from my grandfather who just passed and not only did Debbie answer my question in full detail she was also able to direct me where to go for these items. Thank you very much for the knowledge and an HONEST answer.

We met with Debbie and Jim last night to have them do an appraisal for us. The knowledge that they have about antiques was truly astounding. They were efficient in their appraisal so that it would keep our costs down. They were willing to work around our schedule, which was very helpful to us. We were pleasantly surprised about how honest and straightforward they were about the value of the jewelry that we had appraised. In the past, I have experienced other appraisers that have tried to be misleading about whether my jewelry had genuine value, so we were so thankful for their honesty. If you need an appraisal of an antique or if you would like to purchase an antique, these two lovely people are the ones to see.

Emil Tolpin was a studio artist who painted for Pickard China and later, “Tolpin Art Studio” in Chicago. If the hand-painting on your lamps is pristine, if none of the gold trim is worn, if the pattern is pleasing, and if there are no chips and cracks, I estimate your lamps might sell for $75-$150 on ebay or facebook marketplace. Hope this is helpful.
I apologize, Louise, but I only appraise antiques. I have no experience with newer items like the Zaphir piece you mention. Debbie
