Bobbi from Casa Dog is an irresponsible owner and dog rescue manager. She has asked fosters who use positive reinforcement to yell at their dogs and went as far as calling dogs spoiled little brats. When fosters have communicated with her about their training methods she has asked that the dogs be surrendered so she can put them back into homes where they were previously neglected. Bobbi would rather a dog go into an abusive situation where a dog was barely even fed than go home to a loving owner who is willing to put in the work to train a reactive dog. She believes that positive reinforcement is animal cruelty. She sent someone to a fosters private residence to retrieve a dog. She is harassing someone for providing a dog a loving home

I adopted my teacup poodle Beni from them. It was a great experience He needed extra care & they were very helpful to me. I've had him for 5 yrs now.

Super nice people working here. The adoption seemed thorough yet smooth. Definitely check it out if looking to add a pet to your family.

We have adopted kitties from CASA more than once and have been pleased with the staff, as well as the condition and treatment of the animals. We like to support local businesses and feel fortunate to have a "no kill" facility in our neighborhood.

Did you find her home? I’m missing my cat?!
Sarvay wildlife in Arlington.
Yes, but limited hours and low pay. They are no kill for non profit. People work there because they love animals, and they rely a lot on donations.
CASA has a wish list on their website. https://www.camanoanimalshelter.com/index.html. I recommend you call them directly at 369-387-1902, as their needs change. During the pandemic, everything is by appointment only. Thank you for thinking of CASA 😊
I believe the dog wash is coming up on August
Have you called any of the rescue shelters around you? You might want to give them a call first thing in the morning when they open their doors. Give them a detailed description of her and make sure you leave your contact information. Better yet, f you have a picture of her, you can print it out with your info and fax it to all the surrounding rescue shelters. I hope you find her soon and she's alright. 🙏🙏🙏
No?????????
I think anyone can voolenteer as long as they are patient, kind, and caring toward animals.
You get your new friend, a collar, and record of any vaccines they have received while being at CASA. Our puppy (7 years ago) came with her age appropriate vaccines, microchip, & spayed. Our senior came with all vaccines, including rabies, microchip & neutered. You will need to purchase a license if you live in Island County.
They will accept cats. You might need animal control to catch it first.
