Broad beer selection and delicious food. You need to understand that fried chick peas are both delicious AND will make you EXTREMELY thirsty. The poutine is ok: there are no cheese curds per se, but grated cheese over the top. It is tasty but it is not really poutine, more poutine-esque than true poutine. Everything we tried on the menu was good (fried chick peas, "poutine", the seasonal salad [very good], two bowls). The waitstaff was competent, bit inattentive. The first time we came I thought I was supposed to order at the Bar because our server took 20 minutes to introduce himself. It was better the 2nd night but still not exactly "on it". The hostess on Saturday was friendly, helpful, chatty, and competent.

I stopped at Aslan on my way down south from Vancouver, Canada. I had never been to any breweries in Bellingham but have heard they have a bunch of good ones. We chose Aslan because of the ratings, the fact that it was open late, and because they also served food. We were able to get a spot at the bar. My boyfriend and I split a BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) sandwich with waffle fries, and a couple of beers. We enjoyed the food, beer, and atmosphere. The establishment is spacious and clean, and the bartender was friendly and helpful. It seems that they have a couple of outdoor patios as well, which are great for nice days. We will definitely visit again, as well as hopefully checking out some other local breweries in the area!

Great food. Great service. My wife and I had a wonderful lunch. My favorite is the spicy Katsu crispy chicken sandwich.

best experience at Aslan so far. the server was super nice, the beer was tasty, and the poutine came out super fast and super hot. check out their merch bc it’s fun, too! really glad we decided to check aslan out today. btw, the mezzanine seating was nice and warm!
